Jerry Ray Caldwell, age 47, of Morristown, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 1, 2019 at North Knoxville Medical Center. He was born on April 15, 1972 in Knoxville and resided in Morristown. Jerry was a loving husband, father, son, brother,brother-in-law, and friend to many. He loved fishing and teaching the kids how to fish. He served in the National Guard. He is preceded in death by his father, Gary Caldwell, I.; brother-in-law, Richie Webb; grandparents, Leonard Caldwell, Jeraldine Hair, Anna Bowers, and Ray Wilson.
Survivors include his loving wife, Denise Caldwell; children, Brayden, MaKayla, and Dillon; grandsons, Kaynaan and Barrett; mother and step-dad, Raeleen and Doug Whitaker; brothers, Gary (Bridgette) Caldwell, II., Terry (Rachel) Caldwell; step-sisters, Jill (Danny) Bushaw, Becky (Chuck) Greene; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kathy and Arville Webb; brother-in-law, Randy (Tina) Webb; sister-in-law, Connie (Jim) Hatfield; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.
The family would like to express a special thanks to all the staff of North Knoxville Medical Center. The nurses took excellent care of Jerry.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Alder Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Dewey Caldwell officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at the funeral home to go in procession to Cedar Grove Cemetery for a 12:00 noon graveside service. Pallbearers will be Gary Caldwell, II., Terry Caldwell, Dean Maiden, Anthony Fredrick, Chris Caldwell, Josh Justus and Randy Webb. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Webb and Van Caldwell.
