Obituary Clifton Taylor, age 78 of Morristown, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at his home after a battle with cancer. He was born in Paint Rock, N.C. where he lived until he joined the US Air Force. He was saved at Ida's Chapel Church in Hancock, County and he served as a deacon at Free Spirit Missionary Baptist Church. Preceding him in death were his parents, Lyda and Bonnie Taylor; brothers, Paul and Martin Taylor; and sister, Ruby Fortner. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Faye Taylor; daughters, Regina (Todd) Wilson, Faith (Michael) Roper, and LeAnn (Robert) Anest; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and sister, Louise Rampey. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Alder Funeral Home and the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. J.J Harris and Rev. Travis Winstead officiating.
