David Ellis Noe

September 12, 1947 - December 24, 2016

Obituary As an answer to his prayer for healing and grace, David Ellis Noe was invited to spend Christmas with his Savior. He was a faithful employee of Enka/BASF for 29 years and by TDOT for 18 years. He was a member of White Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father Lewis Noe. Survivors include his wife of 47 years Elizabeth Ann Noe; daughters Michelle (Stephen) Strange and Missy (Brandon) Trent; grandchildren Chris (Cassie) Strange, Kristen Strange, Lane Hughes, and Lucas Hughes; step-grandchildren Hunter and London Trent; great-grandson Anakin Strange; mother Nina Mae Noe. The family would like to thank their extended family and friends for all their support throughout his illness, and a special thanks to Dr. Clyde Worley and staff for going above and beyond in his care. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Alder Funeral Home and the funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Randy Epps and Rev. Mike Henegar officiating.
