Francis L. Pitt "Pitt" was born to the late Lester J. and Frances B. Pitt on July 1, 1956, and passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 13, 2022, in Newport, TN. He was born and raised in Gloversville, NY. He graduated from Gloversville High School, and he was a longtime taxi cab driver in Gloversville, NY. He was known by all as "Pitt" and was a die-hard SF 49er and NY Yankee fan. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenny Brooker, Arthur Edel, Mark Brooker, Terry Brooker, David Brooker, and sister, Karen Edel Battaglia, and little best friend, Tiny. He is survived by his wife and lifelong best friend, Bonnie Pitt; daughter, Melissa Pitt, and fiance, Ricky Pierce; granddaughters and singing and movie buddies, Brittney and Maci Pierce; grandson and fishing partner, Gavin Pierce; son, Lester "LJ" Pitt, and wife, Kasie; granddaughters, Kenley and Ivy Pitt and grandson, Brenan Herrick all living in Newport, TN from Gloversville/Johnstown, NY; siblings, Judy Webber, Brenda Porter, Shirley Stevens, Mike Brooker, John Brooker, Paul Brooker, and Jo-Anne Kline. He is also survived by two special best friends, Jay and Tammy Tesiero, Sr., along with his little best friend, Xena There will be no service per his request. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date in Gloversville, NY.
