Obituary Jess S. Dawson, age 73, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital in Knoxville. He was a member of Glendale United Methodist Church. He was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by parents: Blaine and Jane Dawson; wife: Sherian Dawson; and son: Michael Dawson. Survivors include his children: Missy Bull, Tiana (Tim) Baxley, Casey (Luke) Amos, Amanda Dawson; many grand children and great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Nelson Harbin; good friend: Gene Trobaugh; sister: Karen Zwingman; brothers: Ronald (Betty) Dawson, Donald (Elaine) Dawson, Tommy Dawson; several nieces and nephews and host of friends. The family will receive friends Friday April 7, 2017 from 6-8pm at Alder Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 8:00pm with Rev. Rick Spell and Brother Ned Ramsey officiating. Graveside service will be Saturday April 8, 2017 at 11:00am at Glendale United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bybee.
