Obituary Ruth Edna McInturf, age 84 of Morristown, passed away the afternoon of Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Regency Retirement Village. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Martin McInturf of Elkhart, Indiana; parents, William and Lucy Debruler of Winslow, Indiana; and brother, William Debruler of Edmonds, OK.Survivors include son, Mark McInturf and his wife Laura of Morristown, TN; granddaughter, Jamie Lynn Godfrey of Nashville, TN; and grandson, Robert Aaron McInturf and his wife Emily of Euliss, TX.Ruth was a Christian and was devoted to family with a servant's heart; never worrying much about herself. A tomboy early, she loved and strongly supported all the sport and musical activities of her family and turned into a big fan of women's basketball at UT. She was what you would call "Good People" and she had great friends and was cared about by many.Visitation will be 3:30-4:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Mayes Family Services, Downtown Chapel and a memorial service to follow at 4:00 p.m.Arrangements by Mayes Family Services of Morristown, Downtown Chapel.
