Obituary Johnny Cross, age 77 of Talbott, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 at his home. He was a member of Spruce Pine Grove Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Howell A. and Hallie Cross and sister, Joyce Holder.Survivors include his wife, Joan Cross; sons, Michael Cross and John (Shannon Vannoy) Cross; daughter, Rhonda Cross (Kendall) Bryant; step-son, Rodney Webb; grandchildren, Tyler Cross, Aaron Moore, Preston Bryant, Bryer Cross, and Travis Webb; brother, Clifford Cross; sisters, Glenda Benedict, Betty Arnold, and Edith Collins; and several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Alder-Mayes Funeral Home and 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Spruce Pine Grove Baptist Church and the funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Odell Davidson and Rev. Dustin Callahan officiating. Family and friends will meet Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Hamblen Memory Gardens for a 10:00 a.m. graveside service.
