Earline (Hurst) Wilmeth, age 83 of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at The Heritage Center. She was a member of Thankful Missionary Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Hatcher and Ruth Hurst; sisters, Joyce West, Bee Whitaker, Nina Wisecarver, and Jean Barding.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Edward Wilmeth; daughter, Debbie (Carlos) Wolfe; son, Eddie (Kathy) Wilmeth; grandchildren, Candace (Josh) Bible, Steffanee (Jason) Coffey, Derrek (Chasity) Wolfe, and Joshua Wilmeth; great-grandchildren, Maddox and Emerson Bible, Abbigale and Elijah Coffey, Liam, Gavin, and Cambryn Wolfe, and Nolan Wilmeth; sister and brother-in-law, Barb and Bobby Raines; special neighbors and friends, Darrell and Bonnie Ball; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. A special thank you to the staff of the Heritage Center for all of their love and support.
Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Alder Funeral Home and the funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Barry Warren officiating. Family and friends will meet at Hamblen Memory Gardens Sunday, October 18, 2020 for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service with Rev. Jason Coffey officiating. To follow Hamblen County Covid-19 protocol, we do ask that you please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
