: Richard “Dick” Fahringer, age 73, of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 at his home. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Morristown. He served in the Vietnam War. Dick received an MBA from Emory University in 1985. His primary employment was professional sales. He delighted in being able to visit 22 countries. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and kindness. Dick was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Fahringer; father, Richard Watson Fahringer; brother, Thomas Fahringer; and sister, Marilyn Leys.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Marilyn S. Fahringer; children, Robin Machajewski of Gilbert, SC and Kristina Day of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Marilyn Mitchell of Columbia, SC, Matthew Day of Austin, TX, and William Day of Austin, TX.
A memorial service will be held outside at his home at 304 Tom Franklin Rd. Jefferson City, TN 37760 at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2020. Guests are encouraged to please wear a mask. All are welcome.
